The Dillon Business Association announces Summit of Bluegrass and Brews, Friday and Saturday, June 24-25, 2011.Music for Summit of Bluegrass and Brews kicks off with renowned national Bluegrass acts Friday night and runs through Saturday night, with Oakhurst headlining at the Lake Dillon Amphitheatre.
On Saturday, June 25, the Colorado Brewers Guild Brew Tasting will be held at Dillon Marina Park. Colorado’s world class breweries will gather to serve up craft beers to thirsty crowds of avid beer connoisseurs. The cost is $35 per person to sample over 25 Colorado breweries’ tasty suds. The Tasting will be ‘hoppenin’ between 1 - 5 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Colorado Brewers Guild, a non-profit association who, among other things, advocates to work with the state legislature on behalf of Colorado’s craft brewers. Live Bluegrass Music will start at 1:00 p.m. and run through 9:30 p.m., absolutely free.
Location:
The event will be held on the shores of Lake Dillon in Dillon, Colorado at the Lake Dillon Amphitheatre and the Marina Park Pavilion - located on Lodgepole Street at the end of Lake Dillon Drive.
Parking:
There is FREE and ample parking in the lot adjacent to the park.
