Come on out for some hot cider, cookies, and of course Santa Claus! The Lighting of Dillon will take place on Dec. 6 at 5:30 pm at La Riva Mall. Pictures with Santa will be available for purchase, the Lord of the Mountains Sanctuary Choir will be on hand singing Christmas Carols, and of course Mayor Ron Holland will flip the switch and illuminate the town in Holiday splendor! It'll be a great night of family fun for all!!
Christmas Tree & Wreath Auction - Dec. 6, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Silent Auction during The Lighting of Dillon
Christmas trees and wreaths decorated by local businesses are on display now in the La Riva del Lago building and will be auctioned off at The Lighting of Dillon. All proceeds benefit the Family and Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC). A great way to support your community and get a decorated tree/wreath in the bargain!
Friday Bon Fires with Santa - Dec. 7th, 14th, and 21st, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
Town Park east side of Buffalo Street
Every Friday in December before Christmas, Santa Claus will make a stop in Dillon to warm up next to a roaring bon fire and listen to last minute requests before he rejoins his elves at the North Pole. It's a long, cold journey for Ole Saint Nick so we'll have plenty of hot cocoa and roasting marshmallows on hand. Sing along with carolers and get in the spirit of the season!
Free Children's Puppet Shows - Dec. 7th and 14th, 10:00am - 10:45am and

Join Puppeteer Toni Napolitano in a jolly, fun-filled romp through a winter wonderland as her delightful, trick marionettes perform incredible feats of skill and daring that will leave your young audience shouting with laughter! Fun and fantasy, merriment, giggles and amazement all mixed together to the sounds of your favorite holiday music! For children of ALL ages!

Vote for your favorite decorated business and/or home right here on the DBA website and earn them great prizes and recognition far and wide!
How to vote: Anyone can vote once per day right here at www.DillonDBA.org between December 6th and January 6th.
How to be eligible to win: Email Katie at info@DillonDBA.org with your name (and business name) and address to be registered and listed on the voting site. Your property must be within the Dillon Town limits (as defined by the Summit County GIS (Geographic Information Systems)). All registered contestants can get discounted lights at Sander's True Value on 6th Street in Silverthorne. Take your confirmation email with you to receive your discount.
Prizes: Residential winners receive prize packages donated by Dillon businesses and include certificates for dining, services, activities and more! Business winner receives a very cool trophy for display in their business and a CASH prize from the Dillon Business Association!!
